Don't worry Rupe. Just Midget, Logan and a tractor rotary hoeing some hard packed corners. No secret practice sessions for the opposition( Redrider and that Lee Hoon fella). Berms will form in the afternoon nicely.

Mr Motorcycles Trail ride on the Sunday 28th wairamarama.

Arrr, thats the next day tho John. Harden up old boy. Two days riding in one weekend. Bloody awesome.

Its Rodneys easy XC the next day as well. Unfortunately the calendar gets fairly jamed this time of the year. We are riding both days as well.

Wow and in my silly female mind I thought 'the pros' didn't require practice days. I thought that each track is pretty much the same to them and they'll just blitz the opposition, even if the opposition has ridden it. Darn it, wrong again!

I should hope not - if i'm thinking of the same event run by power adventures, me and my mates actually left after only one session and went to woodhill instead to actually have some fun - and that was after already spending the first half of the day looking for it!

Yep busy Month alright, Mr Moto this weekend, then Paeroa BOTS next Sunday 21 Feb, hopefully this ride the following weekend, and then Mr Moto on Sunday, where do i find the energy, or should i say money, Oh thats right i don't have any.

No not the same location. We actually put alot of time and effort into our events.

I don't know where you are going with the No jumps angle. This is an MX event and I don't remember a no jumps statement. Be a freakin boring MX with no variations.

It is however still natural terrian although we did have the implements in to take out ugly kickers etc.

so does each class get more than one 10 minute race or do you have to enter multiple classes?

i just dont wanna make the 2 hour trip if all im gettn is 20 mins on the bike.

You enter multiple classes e.g. Age group, CC rating, Ability (slow/old, novice, clubman, intermediate, expert, ladies) and we have a MX overs, MX unders and an all in Enduro class. Juniors 65-125 cc (3 different classes and age groups).
So you get 3-4 different races of about 10 minutes each. Quick fire, as in once the last rider is in (or near finish) then the flag goes up. If your not on the line then you miss out.
We should be able to do 2 rounds plus a feature but this all depends on numbers on the day. Possible 6-8 races.

To confirm the classes go to the website www.thesandpit.co and on the events page are the classes.

This means i can race in classes

age group 20-29
4 stroke MX class 250cc - open
and
Clubman or Intermediate.

Mint 3 races in one full cycle of the event races.
