    4x4 dirt bike carrier/rack?

Anyone here know of or seen a REAL sturdy towbar 4x4 bike rack that would be adequate for a KLX300?

    have one made.

get some RHS (box section) added to the outer edges of your tow bar under the truck, then slot in the bike holder. will be heaps stronger than any 'tongue' mounted setup

If this is for your HiLux with canopy, you will have to bring it out off the rear a little more cos the handle bar end will be hard up aganst your rear window cos it is near vertical. not like on a sedan or hatch back.

Mate made one up years ago bit of channel wide enough for tyres to fit weld a small extension so it can bolt on where towball fits and come out far enough for bike to sit on (may pay to get tow ball with long thread on it) then at each end weld another bar on so it wont twist from left to right the wedges under the bumper or bullbars if fitted. took less than an hour to make

Yea its for the Hilux Surf, its got the spare wheel on the back so it needs to clear that as well. Ive found a dude up here that has made one up but Ill go see him in the new year and let you fullas know what Ive found out!

PS my bikes running SWEET now, it was the valves that had not been adjusted for years making it a BITCH to start, now it runs 2nd kick! LOVE IT! Have to bring it down on your trails Stu, would love to go through with a few friends sometime!
