    nah....just can't afford to be eternal victim....living in marginal wages is not easy

    I only speed where the cop probability is under 10% albeit the impossibility to tell exactly.

    B'sides, 2wheels are no fun in the mways.....

    OK, that's surprising, but I stand corrested. I'm still not going to blast up behind any cop car though. It'd be my luck to find the first one with an upgrade unit.

    You an' me both, Lou! I recall having a heart-stopping moment coming round a corner south of Hastings, heading for Masterton. There's some nice sweepy corners between Hastings & that Maori Boarding School, and I was having some fun, only to see the back end of a police car in the distance. I followed him for miles (he was actually doing the speed limit!) before he pulled over to meet another copper coming North to meet him. Phew!

    I didn't realise the new radars were out there already. When I was told by a Waikato HP cop that they had the old ones, I thought he was talking about the whole country. He did say they're getting upgraded ones that will work in the "same lane" in the next couple of months. I just hope he remembers to tell me when it happens!
