112kph south of Cambridge. I was too busy deciding what pie I was going to buy at the Cambridge BP & how good the bath was going to feel when I finally made it home.

I got pulled over by a lovely young chap heading south at Mercer for 111kph. I laughed at him when he ran up & showed me the laser display! I got out of that one only because my rego had expired recently & he said I could have a ticket for one or the other - my choice. Guess which one I chose!

I guess u chose the speeding ticket??

I would never choose a ticket with demerit points over one that doesnt have demerits. Even though the reg ticket would cost a bit more ($200??) that is enough to offset not having demerits!!! Need to store them up for when they are required!!

I know I'm blonde under this (fading) red hair dye, but I'm not that blonde!!!!

I chose the rego, especially since he was nice enough to put the get-off-ticket-if-you-prove-you've-fixed-the-problem clause on it too, which they don't have to do these days. So all I had to do was pay for the rego & post them proof of the rego, and they let me off. So ner!

Angry Persecution is alive and well

Yep, they're saturating the Waikato alright.  Came into Tokoroa via a back road tonight and there were 2 cars patrolling an area which I regard as my race track on the way home from work.  Fortunately, the detector picked the first one up before I saw it.  I might have got flagged down for a license and warrant/rego check but the 4x4 in front of me got himself pulled for speeding.  Love it when that happens

Of course I can! I am a woman, after all, and we are renowned for our multi-tasking abilities.

I can dance, sing along to the song and drink my rum & coke all at the same time. But don't ask me to hold a conversation as well, because my ears are crap in a loud music sort of environment.

No pressure, Wari. I don't have high expectations ..... of witty-ness, anyway!
