    How many bikes?

What is a good number for Anniversary models .
the 2010 gsxr 1000 models of Anniversary a thousand
the R1 Anniversary was the same [i think]
the 851 try colour ducati was 250[i think]

if you are collecting numbed models would you bother with large releases

im a collector of soft toys and disney pixar cars. in those worlds, numbered releases are generally swooped upon fast. my own personal preference is either as low as possible [under 10] or as close to the end up of the run as possible. i have one bear who was limited to 80 worldwide, and his number is 79.

i would do the same with bikes, IF i could afford to, and had the room to do it. for bikes, the worldwide number would have to be quite low. one of 100,000 means nothing to me, while one of 1000 or less would be more worthwhile.

Surely it wouldn't really mean much if they are exactly the same as the same bikes that were mass produced the same year + a paint job? The rizzla suzukis, on the other hand...

I'm pretty sure that isn't aftermarket, its stock! But probably not suzie... It's one of 25 bikes they are releasing in the UK, apparantly... Looks pretty nice. 25 bikes for 25 years is a good number to answer the original Q, yes?
