03 CR250 RC Cable replacement

OK..... happy new year..... Im in need of a replacement RC Valve cable for my 03 CR250, im lookin at 3-4 weeks ex japan, these cables are approx 250mm long with the typical lug on both ends. Anyone have any ideas if I can source a similar cable locally, it looks pretty standard apart from the length?

Wow 3-4 weeks! They are a really common part to go too. I remember shops used to make cables all the time. Is it not done anymore? Have you tried some other Honda dealers? Econohonda, Botany honda, huntly honda etc?

ask around locally, theres usually a few oldschool bike mechanics / automotive mechanics that make cables in most areas. on failing that, hopps garage in gisborne, or cgm motorcycles in gisborne both make cables

YUSSS, action moto wreckers has sorted an interim solution, replacing the cable was easy bit, but the adjuster had broken 3/4 the way down the thread so it now has an extra couple of nuts holding it together, bit of a maori fix but keeps me running till im back at work, yusss
