Thread: She Came In Through The Bathroom Window.

She Came In Through The Bathroom Window.

We have a visitor for Xmas, her name is Whitney, but my granddaughter calls her Dusty for obvious reasons.Whitney is known to us,she used to live 2 doors up the road...or she did until they moved out 2 months ago.Looks like she has come home and found the wrong people in her house...she's been living rough, looking a bit thin and weary of humans. After 24hrs she was back to normal and settled in here.I'm keeping her in the kitchen, dining room lounge area and putting her out at night....but last night she came in through the bathroom window at 4.00am.

Her owners are still in town, but I don't know their name, just by sight and the car they drive.Finding them over the holidays might be hard.My wife won't be very happy when she comes back next week and finds a cat settled in.She's a friendly well natured cat and I enjoy having her around....I wonder if she will ever make it back and stay in her new home,or do I have another cat?

Yep, they say cats pick their owners more so than the other way 'round. Congratulations!

    Nice one!
I have a cat that climbed in through the Kitchen window, she used to belong to the neighbours but they had moved out a month before and left her.I knew it was theirs as I'd seen them feeding her etc.
I woke up one morning and she was asleep on the couch,I knew she was hungry,as soon as I turned the light on she started meowing, all I had was raw mince in the fridge but that satisfied her.
She's been a part of our household for 3 years now, been through 2 preggies and next to my partner is my best mate.

Don't try toooo hard to find the owners, it looks like a keeper! Wish my flatmates had let me keep our walk in cat...

I hope she's been spayed - I don't want to be landed with kittens for showing a little compassion. Her owners were responsible pet owners, which shows in her nature. They had bulldogs,British and Boston, never barked and never off the fenced section without their owners...pretty rare for this area.Dunno what they fed her on,apparently not Home Brand Tuna dry food...she turns her nose up at it.I have to mix it with milk and stroke her while she eats, she'll have to get a bit more hungry between meals if that's her way.

We now now a cosmopolitan and multi ethnic society. So, if your wife objects, the cat will make a good stew. Marinade it overnight to remove the rankness found in the meat of a carnivore, and casserole it with plenty of garlic. So, your neighbours will at least have provided you with a good dinner.

Why waste a good forager - she could keep me supplied with rats, mice and birds for years.I had a cat who would leave at least 2 bush rats on the deck every morning.

Good score, had a kitten do that very thing here, walked in through an open ranch slider, did the how do nod at me, then the same nod to the dog and walked in the kitchen demanding food haha, i thought how cool and fed him !
A girlfriend once asked " Why is it you seem to prefer to race, than spend time with me ?"
The answer was simple ! "I'll prolly get bored with racing too, once i've nailed it !"

    Bowls can wait !

Discerning tastes, and she knows what's good for her. She's not interested in this cat biscuit bollux, she wants meat!

You have been adopted. They are manipulative creatures.

    Cute though.
