Black Forest Road, Lake Benmore?

Hello to all biker outside their,
hope the christmasdays brings a lot of presents to all.

Has anyone information about the Black Forest Road over Lake Benmore,is it open now,in Oktober it was closed for lamming season,but they say it'll be open from mid or end Dezember,I can't catch the owner on the phone,
have a good New Year 2010,allways hold your mirrows up,not like me,

Black Forest Station road may be accessed by contacting B&C Innes, Haldon Road.

Black Forest Station is only a small portion of the HVAC-DC transmission access road between the public road at Black Forest and Benmore power Station at Otematata.

The majority of the road runs through Te Akatarawa Station and their homestead is located on the shores of Lake Aviemore in the Waimate county, near Otematata!

The general arrangement has been that you pay a fee at Black Forest Station and gain the combination for the locks (which are the same) at both ends of the road.

Watch out for other road users and stock!
