I think it's great that you are carrying on the development of the GN from the Suzuki engineers, albeit with different objectives. While you are looking to make it perform better the original Suzuki designers and engineers had another goal, they were striving to be the first in the world to actually polish a turd and then sell it as a learner bike.

    That's pretty freakin' cool.

I want to see it with a turbo and a 10 inch wide debaffled can.

It should only run on nitrous and backfire every 3 seconds.

If this were to happen the levels of awesome would just be far too high for anyone to handle.
What you have in your heart will be revealed through what you have in your life.

If things are going badly in our circumstances, the answer to what is happening to us outwardly is more often than not found in the mirror.

It wouldn't get a chance to backfire every 3 seconds,it would only run for 2 seconds..

Well due to too many people trolling this thread I wont update the results anymore, if you are generally interested you can pm me for further upgrades. To the guys mouthing off and trash talking you should be ashamed of yourselves.

Now, don't get all upset now, Dean. We were just pulling your leg, without any bad intentions. I'm sure none of the guys meant anything with their banter, and if they did shame on them. It was just for a few laughs.

No matter what the bike is, putting your effort and time in a project like this is always a commendable thing. Don't let anybody put you off and be proud of your achievements. At the end of the day it doesn't matter whether your improved GN will outrun a CBR600 or not. All it matters is that you have set to achieve something nobody else has tried and you succeded.

hey bro, I would like updates on how youre doing.
I had a gn and I loved it.
The first week I put flat bars on.
I raised the compression by about .75mm, not too much performance gain for a lot of work. drilling a new hole in the cam gear and got it wrong once. went to the suzuki dealer, $300 mistake. luckily the wreckers were down the road were $30. removing the baffles also gave slight performance.
In the end i made a full stainless exhaust which let me ride along at 120kph while sitting up straight ( I was too embarassed to lean forward) noisy too

Everyone loved it, the girls love the chrome and the people who actually know bikes loved it. It was only the idiots focussed on image who didnt like it. i never even met any of them, you only see them on the internet.

good luck bro, its so much fun and you can learn heaps
I only took 1 photo of it

Centaurus: It is my stepdad who told me to put up this thread, he is quite upset with all the negative replies I feel I let him down with that one.

On the bright side we had a look at a k4 gsxr1000 engine today are just going to conspire with a mate on the dimensions to see if it could fit, I know we are total nutters.
