I got home a couple of hours ago after bailing on the lads in Westport, great ride back up through the gorge, I think I even scared a harley rider when I shot past him on my little chook chaser, and I can confirm that the T63 hangs on in the corners on seal, most of the time

Was a long day yesterday, somebody decided they wanted to go to the end of the road @ Kohaihai even though it was getting dark and the cloud was getting lower.Was a good ride up, but it was dark when we got there so we couldn't see a damn thing, the ride back was...... ummmm.....welll......ahhh...... yeah..... nah....
Unfamiliar twisty road, thick fog mixed with drizzle, in the dark, through some primitive west coast rain forest over a hill.I was trying to keep the 9fiddy in sight while looking out for the T.A. behind me. Non of us seemed to be enjoying it at the time.
I'm sure JMJ will have a ride report when he gets home so I'll wait for him.
In the mean time here's a teaser....

i do believe i saw u guys just after 12 today :P heading up towards picton id guess? i was going out to the ure straight just past ward in a white service truck, i waved at u mr standy up ktm n co ~, around the 30kmph work sites

:P wish i could have spent day on bike today

I thought you enjoyed riding like a freaking ejit on dark wet winding hilly roads????

yea..after we passed i workout why you where waving at us.... sorry about that, we where cutting it a bit close for the ferry..

the little side track up to the radio tower, was a doosey.. best weather we could have asked for, and what a view..

Actually you've got 3 days as we are off to the Coromandel today and will be away from a computer til friday arvo so I expect to see something impressive when I get back Mmmmkay.
