But you told me, you weren't a "yank"!!! Most decidedly not! No sirree Bob! I thought you was a Texan! And we all know, they arent yanks. So are you resenting by association?

Notice the quotes? That's me using a term that y'all here seem to use for americans. I'm mocking you and me at the same time. I can do that you know.

Have worked for me in all three of my wrecks. That said I am still looking at getting some proper leathers.

In seriousness, what does one call a person from the USA who is not a "Yankee". American does not show the "non-Yankiness" and is also ambiguous with Canada and Latin America ?

Southerner seems somewhat impolite and confusing since it would include California and Florida, which I would not normally associate with the "South" , Southern Gentleman over the top, and Rebel would I suspect be unwise ?

    Dixielander ? maybe ?

Is there a generic term for an "Old South" person . No pisstake , genuine question

Sorta fits me seing as how I really don't fit in anywhere. And was gonna say inrespons to your post before you could just call me Waylander. It also has to do with all the trouble I've been having with imigration so at the moment I have no homeland and thus am a waylander.

Where do you think I got it from in the first place? Though I prefer the Shannow novels better.

Wearing a one piece, I can't swing my legs around and over the mirrors when sitting on the tank easily.

They're also too restrictive for to do a leap of faith, something you want to be pretty confident of success.

Different strokes for different folks and all that, but most of the time, speeds are pretty low anyway.

Stunting is the opposite of racing. Its skill in slowness, rather than skill in speed

Well said that man. Fell of my dirtbike many times learning that fact
Then again, it used to buzz my mates out when I'd flick my legs (and body) flat out behind my road bike at 100km/h(or there abouts ) and pass them, looking like I was hanging on for grim death at warp speed. Wish I'd got photos now I think about it
