    Speed camera blown up

    Check this out:

And check the comments at the bottom.

I studied American History / Constitution a long time back and one thing I have always remembered is: "They who can give up essential liberty to obtain a little temporary safety, deserve neither liberty nor safety" (Franklin). I think this applies to freedom everywhere in every aspect.

PS, they've had a lot more practice in the UK at destroying cameras.

Hang on, in another thread, you mentioned the "brand" of bike you ride, and that you could use some help with tassles?

I feel a Python quote coming on...

as for blowing up speed cameras - what a brilliant way to raise taxes. What do those things cost... $60k each? And the money comes from... where? The GUBBERNMENT!... and they get their money from???

I'm all for protest where there is a genuine cause, but those actions are more than just a little self defeating.

I wonder if there was an alternative that made sure only OTHER people got ticketted... there must be a way... surely. Any ideas out there? Any ideas at all?

I would suggest a non damaging method of disabling them would be more effective - spray paint over the lens.

You wouldnt be able to see it unless your looking for it so it'd have more of a chance of staying disabled before it gets fixed.

The low cost of the repair means if u get snapped (hehe) the fine will be way down.
Then I could get a Kb Tshirt, move to Timaru and become a full time crossdressing faggot
