DR tank modification

I have an old DR650 tank and would like it modified to fit my DR500. It could even be cut and lengthened a couple of inches so that it meets the current tank rear mounting bracket, which would save me the hassle of modifying my seat. Who could do this on/near the North Shore? It doesn't have to be pretty, just functional.
