Was fantastic, I was a race day virgin. Luckily people were gentle on me.(Had never actually push started a bike, heh electric starts)
Cheers Big Dave, great pics, hope to get there tomorrow.
I'm gutted that I can't be there but the pic's sure make up for it.
But unless i missed it...I did'nt see a pic of the 125 V4 Yamaha, surely the crowning glory of the meet.
Mint pix; Ya gotta salute those Guys, and they way they present their machinery, Mucho Repect. Some very tasty Nortons, and Trident there too..........

I haven't been to Puke race track since 1973... Watched Leo Leonard clean up in his E49 Charger.
Must get back there one day...
Nice pics as usual BD, you're a master with the camera!
You don't get to be an old dog without learning a few tricks.
Shorai Powersports batteries are very trick!
Bloody awesome day: some really close racing on some concourse presented bikes. Loved seeing the Briton again and stroudy did us proud with a few laps on it some of which were on the back wheel.....what a bike. The V4 Yamaha sounded freekin awesome!!!!!
Thanks Big Dave, you made my daughters day taking her picture, she expects to see it in the mag now!
Well done to the organisers, no doubt the pressure was on in the admin block but it seemed to run like clockwork from where I was, the place had a real buzz about it. Now if only we could pick all that up and bring it along to national rounds eh!
Cool as. I haven't got to it yet - only as far as the spitfire so far.
Who won the Stroud V Dave Cole shootout? - I was over at Castrol and it was a ding dong over there.
Stroud (thankfully as we were with the person looking after the bike at the time).
Crowd numbers seemed to be similar to last year's Saturday amount. But Schwantz was definitely a huge drawcard last year (hell, we even went for two days instead of the usual one). This year just one, but seems a bit dumb as always spend half a day looking in the pits (with a few walk-byes the parking lot, of course).
Still a great event.
For those unable to make it this weekend, book yourself in for next weekend at Hampton Downs for more Classic Racing.
Cheers BD and Locatelli...love yer work. But am I asking to much if someone has video of the V4 in action?
Not to fussed on quality but just want to hear it "on the pipe" so to speak.
I put a heap more pics in the slideshow. Nada vid.
