Ok guys we've cancelled the Kawakawa Bay ride and are coming on this one instead Should take this ride to over 30 bikes!!

Will lag at the back keeping company with those who are only permitted to ride at 70 kmph

Is anyone from east auckland going? We'd like to meet up with someone who knows the way to the meeting place.

Is there going to be a support vehical coming along that will have a bit of equipment to use if we have minor breakdowns, punctures, etc?

thanx for the heads up on the ride moto...done that ride a coupla times with a mate, but this weekend - and at the risk of sounding old - i've got a round of golf on saturday morning and am not likely to be finished until just short of lunchtime...then of course a few rounds at the nineteenth, but not too many, mr cop!!!!!!

anyone riding out to sth head around 6:30am keep an eye for me on my bike...great twisty road, perfect for beginners, and the perfect thing before and after a good game...remember, a bad game of golf is still better than a good day at work...unless you work where i do and see the lovelies i do!!!!eek!

Do be careful, anyone going for a burn on that road. Harry Hariup drives over it several times a day, on the wrong side of the road, cutting the corners, as always. There has been more than one fatality when a bike has encountered Harry on those twisties.

Ride safe folks, and remember, black squishy bits down, pink squishy bits up, always.

Now now Ixion, there's no need to start telling scary stories to get the newbies all worried!!

I've ridden down SH22 many times this year and havn't once had any close calls with "Harry" or even witnessed such driving antics! If 22 is dry I'm sure all riders will have a blast if they keep to their own pace and stay on the right, I mean left, side of the road.

Eh - no , not SH22, the road up to South Head. Harry doesn't seem to lurk on SH22.And I'm sure everyone will have great fun , rain or shine. Nothing wrong with riding in the rain .
