    Really cool photos, terrain looks a lot more varied than the african dakar years.

    If money was no object I'd love to rent a bike and cruise round as a spectator for a holiday.

    Awesome find, thanks for sharing. I notice that the riders are either very overweight or are wearing some pretty thick gear. What's the deal with wearing such a bulky getup in the desert?

    The rally climbs to 3000 meters and the desert temperatures would not be hot at the higher elevations.

    most of the bulk would be from protective gear, knee-braces, neck-braces, pressure suits, which don't add much thermal resistance.

    I imagine the outer jackets would be sized to take all the protective gear and any extra layers as required to deal with temperatures.
    They would lose a lot of body fluids if they wern't careful so layer control and how much ventilation is in the suits must be important day to day.

    They probably beefed up to be Santa over Christmas lol

    I tried to up load some photos because i would rather have photos on a post then a link but! work computer keeped crashing or the uploader crashed. Probably because the photos are massive!

    See photo number 8.... What happens next after that photo ? , looks like a good bail so he might come out ok...

    Thats it I am going to put sand tires on the Enfield and give them frenchies the learn ,,,,,

    Now can someone lend us a few dollars ....about 120 000 of them ?
