Works for me, where do you want to meet? even better if I have heard of the place...The xr has bunks so I am going to be in the back snoozing with the bike on auto cruise.

If the xr has bunks then the africa has a stateroom ,I'll be carving my way through the morning in luxury.

Nah she's right pal, there's a nice wee stand of pine trees just south of Kaikoura we may head for, saves taking a tent.

Well I think I'm out of tommorrows ride.

I finally this afternoon found what the intermittent noise was from the rear end. It was 5 or so rollers absent from the chain!!! Any way got myself a new chain & fitted it. Couldn't for the life of me get the outside link on & the clip so put just the clip on thinking the link must be redundant. Well anyway bikes down the end of the driveway, master link is somewhere in the flaxes & I'm tired of working on it for the week.

damn bike just came fell off its sidestand and bent my brake lever - i lowered my levers to make it easier to ride standing up but never got round to dropping my barkbusters..... doh

didnt break just bent a bit (fits my hand better now!!) so will still be able to make the ride
