Just my opinion, and i don't need flames for it, but I think that this is what a bike would look like if NASCAR turned their attention to two wheels

I have always puzzled why Harley don't try and use the success of the XR750 in any way at all,it's almost like it doesn't excist,an embaressment, something to be ashamed of.Ok,so they were helped along by the AMA bending the rules their way,but really, very few bikes have been able to take it to the XR750 on the dirt tracks - except of course the fabulous Honda RS750,a copy of an XR.They have never put on a small tank, painted it orange and put on a high pipe, never made a street tracker.

This is as close as they've prob got, huh? The XL883R. I too, am very suprised that Harley don't offer something like that Storz bike in their own catalogue. Harley always seem to offer so many variations on their bikes but they are always the same old thing. How about a Vrod done up like that?

    Way cool!!!

In the March 2005 issue of Cycle World there is an article about a Triumph flat tracker. Built in the USA but financed by the factory, a possible US market development?

If this was meant for me I was talking about how the 883 sportster and the storz... thing looked simaller. The V-rod was mention to prove a point that I was wrong in.

Yeah yeah it was for me...........I just don't think I could be bothered buying a sporster to spend another small fortune to storz it when I could just go out and grab the street rod.........I know what you're thinking......it'd be a down grade from a buell anyway...........exactly.
