    Bugger the boss trail ride.

Stripped the 525 down and installed the trail configuration (lights and rack off, dirt wheels/tyres on, small tank and shrouds, front sprocket changed, mirror removed) and took it to the Power Adventures "bugger the boss" Trail ride at Maramararua yesterday arvo. The trail utilised some of the Maramara 3 day enduro tracks which were bloody bumpy and rutted. There was on stretch that had me thinking that I had a flat rear tyre, the surface didn't look that slippery though. Was a great ride but being the first trail ride I've been on in a while it was real hard work at times. My fitness is woefully lacking these days. 525 went great tho. Good to have a bike that can do it all. I'm glad that adventure riding is so much easier than trail riding. Only dropped it a few times - honest.

Great way to spend the afternoon/evening mid-week. Sometimes I wish I was still in AKL... just kidding!
    Cheers,
