Who'd want to follow Steve's arse?
Do you realise how many holes there could be if people would just take the time to take the dirt out of them?

Don't be so hard on yourself. Having just returned from Coromandal, the biggest dick lives up there. This is the dick who rents out 50cc scooters to young kids on their car license. We were sitting across the road watching him rent 6 scooters to a bunch of kids clad in boardies and jandals for the guys, and bikinis for the chicks, one chick did not even have jandals on. One girl had obviously only ridden 2 things in her life, the boyfriend and maybe her bicycle when she was at school. The renter dude was running beside her trying to stop her crashing, and after 15 mins of "instruction" sent them on their way. We left Whitianga heading back towards Tairua and met them on the road, wobbling all over the place, holding up traffic and looking for somewhere to have a crash. Saw them again during the day and they would have covered 120 kms of main road that day with no gear. The wanker that rents these things should be taken out back and executed.
This is one of the reasons we are getting screwed over by National and ACC.

    .
    1. they didn't crash.
    2. he's entitled to be doing what he's doing. long-time licence laws allow him do do it.

Mr Tryhard you said it best....but I also agree that your pain was not caused by the t-shirt and shorts....

Hopefully your story serves to let other new (and perhaps unco type) bikers know that they should always wear some gear when riding...especially when new to riding and taking a different bike out for a first 'test spin'

Hope the gravel rash ain't too bad - apparently it even hurts when you piss and no I don't mean when you piss on it.
