midget200 hit the nail on the head, don't go the MX way and then soft cock it down so she can ride it, the KDX is ready to go of the shop floor, for someone like her who just wants to trail ride, if she has that competive streak, then by all means go the MX bike way.

I think the first two options are the same bike and could be the Japo import version with the steel tank. Not really a good option when for a couple of hundy more you can get the last one (2005). A better bike with far greater resale value let alone bike performance.

the kdx would still be a good option for mx track ..but i would change the front forks over to kx or similar forks that dont drop down below the front axle..some of those rutts get deep
and if those older style forks forks come to a sudden stop jammed in a rutt ...its over the bars you go ..ouch that hurt..

A KTM owner will snap that up, they don't mind, its a bargain at that price, for the worlds best bike.

that would be great as we want to come up but we dont really wana go all that way if its no good. I am about 5'9 i think haha, quite tall anyway, i can sit on a 250 but have to lean to the side a bit. If you could check it out and let us know?
