You are still mental, but it's nice to have you back. Have you removed the helmet yet, or are you still carrying the intercom around?

Pictures and another boring blurb will follow shortlyish. So in combination with my lowered gearing, the gearchanges were so smooth as to be almost imperceptible. Schweeeeeeeeeeeet....

    :spudwave: Welcome back.

You lowered your gearing too? I just did that this week, went back to the old rear sprocket (57 tooth as opposed to 55) which still has some life in it, and got a new aftermarket 16 tooth front sprocket ($8.50! and to think a genuine yamaha front woulda cost $70!). Still just getting used to it, but it seems to be an improvement.
Are you just joking about inventing a chain cleaning and erling device? If not, I'm looking forward to the pics.

Yeah, big improvement here - the VFR feels like it should have been geared like this to start with. Lotsa bikes are overgeared to meet sound regs etc., and gearing them down is one of the best and cheapest performance mods you can make.

(paul diAnno sucked as a lead singer and janick gers plays guitar like fighting cats....horribly.... bruce dickinson was on a discovery special a coupla weeks ago... he's a train spotter... Steve "'arry" Harris (best bass player ever) and Dave Murray (guitar legend) are the only original members of IM..., Harris writes 90% of their music and cant read a note... knows absolutely no theory..... anymore questions about IM, just ask!)

oh... and Nicko was Clive's drum tech..... then clive left and a legend (maybe, joker-definately) was created.....

Sorry, but in my awesome opinion (IMAO) that award would go to Cliff Burton, the best bassiststsst evar. He was fucken amazing, just like, watching him play gives me a hardon!

    Oh... shit...

Well now we know where the problem lies...

Also, as a new guy, Rob Trujillo is really good, but just not as good.

I had the pleasure of watching Rob Trujillo play for Infectious Grooves/Cyco Myko from less than five feet away, and I can tell you, his technique is impeccible. But very one-dimensional.

As for Cliff Burton, he was okay, but you're letting sentimentality get in the way of logic there. If he had have lived longer, who knows... Plenty of better bass players. Phil Lynott, Geddy Lee, Jack Bruce, Doug Wimbish, Stanley Clarke, Bootsey Collins, Jaco Pastorius to name a few.

As for Steve Harris, well he had fast fingers, I'll give him that. But so have Flea and Trujillo.

But absolutely no sense of dynamics...

...oh - and welcome back Ian.

Mr Vifferman, welcome back. We missed you (Said in the really annoying agent smith voice)
To every man upon this earth
    Death cometh sooner or late
And how can a man die better
    Than facing fearful odds
For the ashes of his fathers
And the temples of his Gods

Adrian Smith is back too dude. They now have 3 lead guitars.

Women in Uniform is a classic mad, and that's a Dianno song.
