1990, and what were the bikes you wanted then?

Just been reading an old CYCLE mag , guess I was broke back then but lusted after a few Bikes from that era........I always wanted an EXUP FZR1000, or a V-Max and the GSXR-1100 or a GPZ1100 omg....Honda had the V-Four 1000 ( VFR1000 ? ) and a few more. You could buy a sanitised FJ 1200 new too with 125hp at the crank, wow ! The MX line still had the mighty 500's and you could still buy a new YZ490, CR500 and a KX500 ( any colour you like as long as it's green ) .....shame we don't have the same choices any more. I guess life has to go on but .....what where you lusting after then ?

GPZ1100 was desirable. The twin shocker pre Uni-track. Yum.

The Gilera Nordwest hatched from the minds of Romolo Ciancamerla and Federico Martini in 1990.

I had a GS850G at that time - and wished I had pretty much anything else.
