Righto, there should be a flat plug going into the speedo with 3 wires, green, orange with a green trace and black with a brown trace, cut the black and orange one's and join them together on the loom. Easy. Guys used to put a 2.2k ohm resistor between them, but I've done 4-5 of them without it with no issues. Give it a try.
