Apparently you can get Arnica drops you put under your tongue, Homeopaths recomend them. I don't know if they work, but they're supposed to calm the nerves. Personally I haven't found anything that calms mine... Mind you my daily massage is very calming, I told my caregiver she'll have me purring....

That's the one! My wife's centre uses it for exactly that!

I told her I would marry her hands....

Took off today for a blat to clear my head.

    It was amazing.

I had so much focus in my riding, so much determination, my lines...well I can't say perfect but they were brilliant.

Throttle control...oh yeah, I really thought about the corners before I approached them and the need for braking was elimanated on many corners. A couple that I have always approached over cautious became easy...my mind was that much in focus. Not sure if I've ever ridden that well.

Went over the Moutere Highway, very little traffic on the road....it was mine and I took full advantage of that fact. I used my whole body ... my mind was so dedicated to each twist and turn in the road.

As I've travelled that road so much over the last 7 months I've learnt where the little ruts are, where the road has some unsavoury bumps, things I've never cared about in the car but on my bike the road just takes on a whole new meaning. I was pleased to note that one corner that had a nasty big gouge has been fixed.

That ride was a good one....it was quick, it was hard and I used my body so well.....roll on October 4 when I can head to Chch for a training day and get even better. I'm sure that between now and then I will have improved that much more, but today's ride had something 'special' about it that I've not experienced before.

I love my bike and what it gives me.

Had a really good ride last night after having a shitty week. Pushed the bike and myself to the maximum. Just as well I own a 250cc otherwise I'd be going much faster! :P

My sentiments exactly! Sometimes I'd like a little more power when overtaking and coming out of some corners, but overall, I'm very happy staying on a baby bike.

Thanks, you darlings....funny thing is I'm quite restrained.....have loads more I could add but wouldn't wish to bore anyone.....best I get out for another ride tomorrow so I can write more, this time I will remember my new shiny Revit Rain/Wind gear....was a tad chilly today. But, that just served to induce me to ride harder....keep my body going, to move past the point of cold and just "ride".....mind over matter and the mind won! Fingers are another story, those really played up today!

There's something about the terms, "Genie" and "restrained" when used together....
