You don't get to be an old dog without learning a few tricks.
Shorai Powersports batteries are very trick!
I spent sunday arvo cleaning the C50T, under the gazebo. Quick touch up on the whitewalls this morning and off for a blast for the rest of the arvo.
Nearly blinded meself!
Blardy lot of bugs out today! Even the leathers are covered in bug splats!
Oh well another wash in the future I guess, can't have it sitting clean for too long anyhoo.
Nice write up Genie!! - Glad to finally see a pic of the black beast!
Keep on chooglin'
Hi ya all, hope you're all well in the real world. I'm off today to tick over the clock to be reading 15000K, I'm rather excited about this prospect. It shows I've come along way since I first bought my bike. My riding has changed so much, I now have style. LOL.
anyway, I'll be back this evening with a sexy pic of my bike parked at the moment we clocked 15000....and the sun is shining and it's gonna be a brilliant day.![]()
Pics or it never happened...
lol
Keep on chooglin'
Sorry...I'm just so busy of late, household renovations in progress so I'd not got back here...I'm here now and here's my pics....
All in all it's been a fantastic time to get to here, couple of minor drops that left a couple of scars on my bike, but apparently that adds to the character.
Such a beautiful bike with such smooth gracious lines, and I must say my riding since day one has become so very smooth and gracious. My riding now matches my bike. Though I do still have those weird gear changes every now and again ... if you know what I mean.
I've also come to very much love riding over the Whangamoas, it was my pet fear at one time, loved the Takaka Hill way more, but I've overcome that fear and have such freedom now with the corners that make that superb hill.
How blessed I am to own such a beautiful wee bike and blessed again that Nelson is surrounded by such lovely twisties and turnies and views to die for. That doesn't even begin to include all the other blessings in my life.
I've been due to go and get my full licencse for the last month but all this other stuff gets in the way. I"m not in any great hurry for I'm not upgrading my bike to a bigger more powerful one, I have all I need in what I've got. It's a zippy little thing, just the right height and weight (four lay-downs and counting), so why would I want to get rid of it for something different. It's like trading in my boyfriend because I certain time had passed. Not for this lass, I'm committed to this wee bike, it's got at least 200 000k left it in for me....that's gonna to take me a few years
Speakng of which, it's rather dirty from the last weeks worth of riding, we covered a bit, so best I go give my baby a nice warm wash followed by some love and attention of the shiny sort.
Good on you.
Sounds like a very happy Genie. I don't pine for my first bike, or my second...but my third 250
I still pine for.
CBR250RR I would still have it now if it hadn't gotten all twisted up (by someone else). It had all I needed and for this short arse it was so comfy and I just loved riding it.
The roads down your way sound lovely, apparently I have family down therewonder what it costs to chuck a bike on the ferry....
bloody naughty husband may just need to get a pushbike for the weekend than...![]()
Hey, you are supposed to conclude with ... "If you know what I mean"!...
my bad ... wrong channel.

This is where the fun is...that's the only topic.
Just gave my bike a lovely polish and put it away in it's nice warm, cosy, clean lounge..ahhh, I'm so blessed and tomorrow I shall get it dirty again....lucky, lucky me.
