You're irrepressible! How many bikers are overjoyed that it's pouring with rain so they can go for a ride..?

Ones that have new toys they want to play with of course (like my wife insisting I stop by home yesterday and pick her up so she could take her new jacket out for a ride)

Good to hear you are loving your bike again Genie, you were sounding a bit flat on it for a while, it's a bugger when work and life and stuff prevents you from enjoying your bike. A bit of retail therapy can work wonders though.
Riding cheap crappy old bikes badly since 1987

    Dear Tamarillo,

It is my understanding that this weekend you shall be doing a whole lot of riding and that will more than make up for it.

    Who am I kidding...lies.

I understand your addiction for I too am afflicted. What it means is that when we do get the opportunity to ride we do it well and 'feel' every second of the ride.

I had hoped to go out riding today...but, alas, I'm feeling poorly. Seems I have not recovered fully from my illness, buggar. I need to rest....I better be betterer by Sunday!

    Fondest Regards
    Genie

P.S. You are so not old, you maybe grumpy though

Cheers there Mr Neels, it does still feel like a new toy and every time I glance upon it's shear beauty I grin in delight. I did go a bit flat....was more personal than the bike...the bike has lifte me up again. And of course your wife would want to take her new jacket out for a ride. Why do you sound surprised by that? she certainly didn't spend good money on it so it coudl sit in the wardrobe.

Not surprised at all, there was never any danger of it just sitting in the wardrobe. It seemed only right after I got myself a shiny black italian toy to play with that she got a nice new jacket to wear on the back of it. Nothing like a blonde in tight fitting leather bike gear

I cant say that makes me feel better that you are too ill to ride as I am not realy vindictive at all...
Instead I shall commiserate and say bugger. You then are entitled to feel grumpy though really that is a huge waste of time so let's just look forward to time, space, and blue skies.
