Says he with a Japanese version of an American icon lol. I take it that was tongue-in-cheek.

From what I've heard av-gas is designed primarily to work at a constant rpm and higher altitude, therefore not making it ideal for motor vehicle use (although it does have a higher octane rating so will allow more tweaking than normal pump fuel. Track down some C16 race fuel, that's the shit you want. Maybe.

Is an aircraft classed as a motor vehicle?

Not in everyday conversation for the general public. Which unless you are employed in the aviation industry includes the both of us.

it is illegal to sell avgas for road use...it is leaded petrol...beware those with catalytic converters. Competition use yes, general road use, no...hence why you have to take the container to the servo...or fill the race bike while it is sitting on a trailer.

Or simply buy it in a 20 litre container.

Its cheaper if you bring your own tim. The fuel companies will sell race gas and methanol racing fuel in 20 litre tins but its darn expensive.

Race gas and av gas is the same thing. Leaded 100 octane petrol.

No, not necessarily. Yes, Av Gas is 100 octane leaded petrol and yes this can be used as race fuel. But race fuel isn't necessarily Av Gas, it can be a number things, some containing petrol and some not.
