Rally or bike event near Matamata in March?

A friend is hoping to catch up with a riding mate who said he'd be around Matamata for a bike event in March but she's having trouble finding out what it may be. She thought it was the Cold Kiwi but I told her it was the wrong time of the year for that.

I've just found out the guy she's meeting rides a Harley so thought maybe it's a HOG event - anyone know anything about it?

Please let me know if you do as she needs to book time off work if she's going to catch up with him. He's not given her any more info and she can't get hold of him at present.

probably the auckland hog club they used to organise a run there every march / april camp at the pub in okoroire but then they discovered you could book rooms there

used to be a great pub with loads of bikes turning up there

its a while since i have been there and it may have changed
