Sounds like a serious case of 'Sense of Humour Bypass'.

I think the Aussies have it a lot tougher than the Poms.

Aussie mate of mine hangs around with the SAs and Poms.

Been in NZ for 35 years.

Wife is Kiwi.

Kids are Kiwi.

Shouts for the ABs to win against the Wallabies.

But just can't get Kiwi aceptance.

Maybe he should start turning up for work late more often, take more 'smokos' and make sure he's got no sick days left at the end of the year. That'll help with the acceptance.

The general consensus that was activated my the media was the NZ Trade Union movement was controlled by Poms or communists. Depending on the flavour that the media wished impart to it's readers NZ Industrial relations were controlled by either or both of these two influences. Pommy bashing was encourged by both Muldoon and Jim Bolger.

The media simply jumped on the bandwagon.
