Bad news, heal well Jim. A freind had a very similar experience in near the same area a couple of weeks back. Also wrote off his bike he'd bought a couple of weeks prior. Bloody farmers not maintaining their fences. If you need anything moving or whatever while your out of action just txt me I'm only 5min down the road.
Don't you look at my accountant.
He's the only one I've got.

He's resting up okay...not up to talking at this stage so just contact her if you need any more info.
Sounds like the Buell is a write-off too.

    GET WELL, JIM !!!!

so sad to hear this! Hope you're doing ok Jim. Please please let us know if there's anything we can do for you, a bag of pebbles, a yummy coffee, a foot rub, visitors, DVDs, whatever. Heal up mate, I'm not the praying type, so I'll have a little mosh at ACDC tomorrow night in your honor instead.

You bastard! Don't you know it hurts like hell to laugh with busted ribs!

Shit - if a guy with probably 10x my experience and skill couldn't avoid a sheep, no chance I could have. Damn new bike as well. DAMN DAMN DAMN!

Best wishes for speedy recovery Jim. I also hope your insurance claim is straight forward and no hassles.

Damn. Not good mate. You're lucky to be alive, and even luckier to be married to one of the country's best nurses. I worry about those boys of yours jumping into the bed in the morning though. It's gonna hurt.

    GWS.
And I to my motorcycle parked like the soul of the junkyard. Restored, a bicycle fleshed with power, and tore off. Up Highway 106 continually drunk on the wind in my mouth. Wringing the handlebar for speed, wild to be wreckage forever.

It is not going to hurt as much as when he watches the boxed set of Monty Python I have sent down for him to watch while he recovers

I thought the grumpy bugger had gone all quiet on us this week, thank God it is only temporary.

Day at a time Jim, frustrating as that is going to be. Heather, thank you so much for letting us know that he is OK, albeit knocked around. Take care you two.
