Well i took a Fury for a ride today ,must admit it ,s looks really appeal to me so i headed up the northern motorway and then back around the eastcoast bays and back to Barrys point road. It took a little bit to get use to the front end as my bike is quite nimble for a cruiser[vn900 custom] but i found it a good rideing bike and if you just wanted to cruise you could take all the corners with ease and i have riden with a lot of bikes especially cruisers that make you think about every bend in the road but you wouldn,t want to get carried away with the Fury as its not really made for corners. What suprised me tho was how soft the motor was it,s got plenty of torgue and sounds great with the Cobras on it but when it came to top gear rollon it felt pretty pedestrian in fact my 900 feels much more grunty ,so i was a little disappointed in its grunt seeing as i have ridden with plenty of 1300 vtx,s and the Fury,s fuel injected ,any how it handles better than i expected and you could ride it any where as it is good on the road the brakes and suspension seem fine, thats my impression cheers L J

im not a cruiser fanatic however id go for the new 48 (if it had a bigger tank than 8ltrs), or a crossbones. not really a honda, for a cruiser, its about the attitude for me, and even though id feel like a dork dressing up with my open face bug catching helmet and leathers, I've been told riding a harley cant be beat.
All the reviews about the fury just dont sell it to me, and the price is too high i reckon.

saw one in the flesh last weekend

I was impressed and I liked it which is more than I can say about the current crop of fashion collectables from HD

Harly should reintroduce the 84 softail complete with 4 speed gear box, kick start and evo motor

Too expensive, a Triumph Thunderbird is the same price...a no brainer. A 109 is 4K cheaper and will give you the attitude if you want it.
