    Tekapo Tamer

    Afternoon all

Well, back from the Tekapo Tamer, had a great time pretending to be NZ's top moto x er on the DR650.

Was lucky enough to go for a ride first with Matt then with Colin and co from Nelson, no photos from me as we lost our camera prior and wifey had the old one which was temporarily livened up for the weekend.

Bashplate payed for itself a few times, I checked at speed to see if Rabbits do live in Rabbit holes once .. all I saw was dirt!! ... next time I do that I will try and leave the bike standing

Colin managed to square up his rims rather well to the point of having to deal to the front with a hammer so the bead would seat on something other than fresh air

Bike back in one bit as was I, smile grown bigger and body a bit soarer, all in all a great weekend away.

Saw a 1200 GS and 800 GS and an older 600 Tenere, that was all the adv bikes that I found.

Cheers to Colin and co and Matt for letting me tag along as the other dudes from Wanaka are all fast trailie / moto x er guys.
    Cheers Andi & Ellen

Hammer? We don't need no steekin' hammer!

A teaser or two, full RR will have to wait a bit, just back last night & a busy work week ahead.

Great ride & weekend, despite 9 hours in the car each way!
    Cheers,
    Colin
