Weather doesn't seem to bad at the moment. Very little rain today. High cloud. Should be OK tomorrow.

I took a poets day today (piss off early, tomorrow's Saturday), so I'm tinkering in the shed.

Now, if I cut off a piece of plastic here...........and add a bit there.

OK i think im ready to roll.

repaired loaded and road tested, theres a bit extra weight to take in count for, and not just my large ass.....

bart, google up
ridge road south joins up to manui rd.
or kaweke rd joins up to te kapua rd,
turn off at mangaweka or manui just before taihape.
these roads are very close togeather and are in the 4x4 hand book.

I've done Matawhero Rd a couple of times - its awesome - particularly going west -> east. Goes through the middle of a farm/station with lots of suicidal sheep (they even leap up hidden vertical banks to land on the road in front of you
