Importing bikes

Can anyone shed some light on the best transport comapnies to use to get a bike from the US to the land of the long white cloud?? found an awesome ducatio hypermotard with full carbon and want to get it here ASAP.

Any help greatly apprciated.

Don't send WT a PM. He only does import work for businesses now, such as Moto Dynamix.

Sick of wankers asking for a price, which I do below market value only to be told "Oh fuck that's too much, Kiwi Shipping said they'd do it for 200 max"

In all fairness, half of kiwishipping issues were of my own making. (growl, same fucken story of my life innit, growl..)

It was the first motor import I have done, and I learned some tough lessons. My main problem was, the ebay vendor blocked my account because I asked a warranty question (grrrr) so I bid with my mates' ebay account. That forced to me to use a trail of fake names to not spook the vendor, which just caused one misunderstanding after another.

In the end I got the engine, and I think we were all pleased to see the end of that episode, but I will deal with them again, and just try for "better luck next time".

I have had interesting conversations with Jason from Bidrider.com. Seems like an upfront honest and helpful guy. Note I havent actually bought anything from him or used his services yet. Definitely worth a call. he uses tardme a bit and his name is bidrider IIRC.

I am *thinkig* about something at present.
