Hell yeah, I remember the first crash that I ever had that was totally my fault. Learnt a good lesson that day. Though, I still remember some dangerous bastard in an icecream truck just laughing at me....

You, I and a lot of others know the answer, so go ahead and place it in the open forum.

The question is from this thread.
why do you care so much? were you there? ask the cops fool. Nothing has been "hidden" or deliberately concealed as you try so hard to make it appear... the only reason why you can't see it is I saw the light and deleted you off my friends list ... *what a tool*.

You mean 40m of failing to get your bike back in your control?

Quite a few people care about the people who have been affected by your actions. They are good people.

What is ironic about this thread, is the OP has demonstrated humility and "opened up" about his mistake. You are representing the other end of the spectrum.

By the way, when you spell "illeterate" in your red rep, you should have a dictionary handy.

    il⋅lit⋅er⋅ate
    1. unable to read and write: an illiterate group.
    2. having or demonstrating very little or no education.
    3. showing lack of culture, esp. in language and literature.
    4. displaying a marked lack of knowledge in a particular field: He is musically illiterate.

    Synonyms:
    See ignorant.

So, would you like to name "rider B and rider C"?

The VFR lives again. Long live the vfr !

Cheers to Dan Plaisted at Motorrad, he's donated an engine cover to me.

Cleaned it up, pulled the old one off, scraped off the old gasket paper and sealant. Popped on new cover, checked oil level, cranked it over without the kill switch on to see if it would get oil pressure still. Oil light goes out.. Good. Fuel on, choke on. Couple of seconds cranking and ZANG !!! It fires up, let it warm up, check for leaks. All appears well. Engages gears, no clutch slippage, no rattles, grinding sounds.

    Very happy

Hey gatch, pleased to hear you and the vfr are OK, don't mind the na sayers, they just like stirring the ever increasing morass of thier own making.
Coming off is never nice, nor cool, making it out of a crash situation alive, breathing and with minimal damage to you and your machine is always a good start, having the courage to post what has happened to you and why so others may hear what not to do, is something to be respected.
Been a while since we rode together but I recall you ride well and with confidence, stay alive mate, watch em all, remember they're all out to getcha!
I've also ridden with one or two of the people making the most noise in this thread, far be it for me to say anything about their riding abilities or otherwise, perhaps though the numberr of people now staying away from those same rides that we all used to go on, is testament in itself as to their riding abilities.
Every day above ground is a good day!:
