Could be a starter for some of this - maybe we'll come down & join the group @ Taihape, camp out out with the crew at Mangatutu then peel off home from Taradale. I might have to lend Rosie my shotgun to defend herself against the bugs, boys & banjo plucking nudy bikers though

About 200-300 meters from memory, not far, but did I mention that 100 of those meters are vertical

Somehow the 2010 thread got combined with the 2009 one, so I started again. We are doing the same loop as last year (clockwise). If time, there are a few side roads we can explore. Howie seems to be able to sniff out a few good tracks.

I'm about 50/50 on the camping thing. Don't know if I can be bothered carting a tent, food, beer, etc...
