I get 320km to reserve normally and more on longer rides.
But then again my bike is completely stock. Not like yours.

I think the carb's been set up wrong. Must be running rich. I might need to learn a bit about it and have a play around.

Washed the bike? I washed mine, changed the oil & filters, checked the valves, cleaned the air filter, changed all the wheel bearings & fitted new sprockets. Just have to go get a chain in town today & fit it up as Cycletreads 'Urgent Delivery' is apparently 1 week AKL - ROT in my case. (at least they called up this morning & admitted to stuffing up the order)

Metvuw says sweet as for Sat, maybe a little rain in the east on Sun, Metservice says the weekend is fooked, stay home. Just have to suck it & see I guess - bailing for a cabin if the weather is arse Sat night is probably a good plan.

Same...checked weather on Metservice this morning.......wet, wet for later evening Sat...all day Sunday..UGH!!

I HATE RAIN...!

I will say the difference riding here than at home, US, is no storms......I hate those worse....

Ask me about the hail storm I got caught in TX one Spring.....WOW! Lucky to be alive!!!

We'll go for it and see what happens!

one time when we rode through the desert rode, we all nearly froze to the bikes.....it was Sooooooooooooooooo cold...

so hard to keep working - bike is sitting about 6m away all set to go.....

yeah I know, bike just outside the window here at work, with tent and fuel can on the back - cant wait now!

As for the rain, bring it on! should keep the dust down on the gravel and this is meant to be adv riding so the rivers should be adventures soon! Just put my waterproof through the wash with some Nikwax reproofing stuff - be good to see if it does what it says on the tin...

Hmm maybe should have done the tent as well

I've been watching the forcast also. Not a cloud in the sky today, so it's hard to take the weather warning seriously. Lets hope the Metvuw version is right.

That's a shame Joe. Are you scared the KTM's going to dissolve in the rain?

Metvuw tends to be a bit more accurate, and the metservice do seem over-eager to forecast rain. And metservice is currently forecasting less rain for Saturday than they were first thing this morning.
