Dunno if you got what you need yet, but it may be worth trying SIL (seal imports limited) in petone, and up tory st there is a place that used to be called shrodaco, they may be able to help out (there a fastner/drive train supply place).
there on the left once you go past the warehouse car park, there right on the corner of tory and another road, cant miss them.
