Why would you ride that long and that gnarly stuff if you don't have to, Its what we do, we love it.

On a Motorcycle you're penetrating distance, right along with the machine!! In a car you're just a spectator, the windshields like a TV!!
'Life's Journey is not to arrive at the grave safely in a well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, totally worn out! Shouting, ' Holy sh!t... What a Ride!! '
The G2 is a bit pricey so leave that till last, adjusting the throttle cam makes a big difference (it did on my 990) but you can also do it yourself with a file or Dremel tool in about 5 minutes.......not as adjustable as the G2 system but $200 cheaper, just buy a spare throttle tube so you can revert to original if you need to.
I cant beleve you are going to all that effort to slow a bike down.......
Nice vidMite have to head up that way for a ride sometime
Unfortunatly its not quite as simple as going from a 14 t to a 13 t on the front as the 13 t will make it a lot more prone to wanting to lift the front.
Having actually owned the bike .....
I spoke to Ian the man helicoptered out last night, he has 9 broken ribs, and had a collapsed and punchured lunge,
ouch my one or cracked ones last year at the 2 man where bad enough.

Ouch!! poor guy!! he has my profound sympathy. I didnt know this was a relatively common accident? I've heard of lots of ppl breaking collarbones but the puntured lung/rib thing is just NASTY. Seriously nine broken ribs?!! WTF thats just crazy. How did that happen? - surely not an extinguisher?
Poor dude, please pass on my best wishes if you talk to him again.

he came off a two wheeler and bounced a long way down a steep hill, was prob 100 metres below the track, and to who how steep it was, you could not see him from the track above,
while we were sitting there helping him, a quad came off the track into the same gully, he was prob 1/2 a km before where ian came off but it was a good veiw seeing the quad roll down the hill, the quad rider did not injure himself
Poor bastard, he trumps my 6 + lung, did he break any of his spinal processes ?? I smacked 7 of those off as well. I feel his pain, absolutley nothing you can do about it but lie still, the most frustrating injury ever.
Thank god for drugs and the discovery channel, takes about 3 months to get back onto the bike. This time of year it's like falling onto concrete.
Get well soon Ian! You will ride again!
Hows the girl who landed on the extinguisher going? Was that you buffstar?
Thats what happens when kids get onto the computer when parents fail to log out. Little shit!
