Nah, no 70k. They could get you on the motorway at the ports I guess, but if (in theory) you have never been over 70k they may think it's a bit rich throwing you on there.

3 u-turns huh? Never heard of that before for a R, but there ya go, you learn something new every day. I guess the "learn something new" is - everyones test has enough variation in it to not be able to give a definitive "you do this, this, this, this and this".

Yeah it was really good being able to take it off, I hated the thing but always left it on.

Start the clock ticking for my next test now.. Full licence here I come!

Congrats man, I just passed my 6R yesterday out at Westgate, 2 U turns and some open road up to 100kmph (I asked prior to the test re speed limits and he confirmed that I should exceed 70), all went well apart from some interferance on the intercom channel (truckies by the sound) distracting me briefly.

Nice one. Yeah, the radio that I had to use wasn't really loud enough so a couple of times I could hear that he said something but didn't know what it was.. I just shook my head lots until he repeated himself.
