    05 RM250 silencer choices?

    Hey team,
i have an 2005 RM 250 with an FMF Gnarly pipe and a R304 shorty silencer.
the silencer is getting a bit old and i am wanting to replace it, but i would like
to smooth it out a bit as well and maybe a bit quieter,

I predominately ride n the woods/ trails rides

I have been looking at an FMF Powercore 2 and a Pro circuit R304 Factory Sound,

if anyone has tryed these a little help would be much appreciated.

    thanks

for what you ride a turbinecore2 or Q silencer [both fmf] may be better. Quieter and suited to that sort of riding. Dont know the procircuit alternative, sure they would have one.

As for power they arnt gonna do much, shortys make it a bit more responsive at the cost of more noise

Yeh. Turbinecore2 will be you're best option. You already have an R304 fitted, it's going to be just as loud as a Powercore 2 or another R304.

Q Silencers arnt cheap but are pretty much the best enduro silencer you can get. Pro Circuit dont have as good offroad silencers as FMF.

turbinecore has the added bonus of built in spark arrestor, for more smoothing, try retarding the ignition timing slightly, and fit a heavier flywheel / flywheel weight

    hey guys,

i have decided to go with a pro circuit r304 factory sound, a turbine core would be nice but too much $$$

ive been looking into flywheels weights has anyone has any success with these?

Yeh flywheels are great, check them out on trademe. Called stealthy weights I think. I had one on my YZ. Was good.
