Well done HR, and glad to hear that there's a happy ending to the story.
Here's hoping you both are very happy and have years of fun together.

So when are you going to come back down here to the 'land of your roots' so I can admire the new scoot?

    Pix of New Ride

There are some really great deals out there at the mo.
Saw an ST1100 for $5K in Ak. The guy I brought it off wanted to trike it, but Taupo Trike works would only do Honda Goldwings. Poor guy could not even push it out of his garage. Comes with sounds tapedeck and radio, heated grips panniers and top box, air ride suspension. I brought it a radar detector so I would stay riding for some time yet. Was unsure how I would control all that power. Not a problem it rides smooth as silk, though very nervious about dropping it at low speeds or even at standstill.

Shouldn't that be "lookn for a venture"? Anyway, so ya got your self a bagger huh. Nice. One less Virago rider. Ohwell atleast you like it wch is the important thing.

And a Virago 1400? That thing would be huge!! But nah 1100 was the biggest they got when they quit makng them in '99.

Nice bike Gordon! I wish you many years of enjoyment on it.

I'm really happy that the insurance came through in your favour too!

Can't believe that with two panniers and a top box you still have to strap stuff to the seat tho.....
