1 fatal and 1 serious bike accidents in wanganui over the weekend. fatal was a guy appears to have hit a ute that pulled out a side road without looking properly. serious was on the paraparas, a tourist vehicle on the wrong side of the road.

Feck. I heard about the fatal, It was just up the road from my house, saw all the emergency vehicles go past.

no name given for the accident, just a man in his 50s, was riding with 2 of his mates. no other info. was in todays rag on the front page. [little side column bit]
