Will gn400 motor fit gn250 frame?

    hey guys,
i was recently handed a gn250 which was in pretty rough condition.
wanted to turn it into an old bobber but would like more power and a simple kick start, so i was just wondering if a gn400 motor would fit the gn250 frame?
    thanks.

I'm sure you could make it fit if you really wanted to.

It's better to not pass and know that you could have than to pass and find out that you can't. Wait for the straight.

probably, its a slightly longer stoke engine, so might be a bit taller,
but the engine is only a couple of horseys up on the 250, having a 2 valve head doesnt help
you'd be better off with the dr350 engine

    could do

i just put a dr 370 motor in to a dr 250 ( which has the same engine as a gn 250. only drama taller 370 carb wont go on.
so drilled out some jet holes on the 250 carb and all goood!!!, sort of
