I'm interested as last years was a good ride but will have to make a decision based on funding closer to whatever dates you pick.
Not really interested but wanted to vote in a Poll
Anzac Weekend 24-25th April
1st & 2nd May
8th & 9th May
Any of the above dates

This sounds like a good idea. If your looking at April/May then I'll be there as well.
I'm interested as long as nothing else comes up, Just ordered some knobbier knobs for the CCA & winter so should be good to go. Will check my social calendar but I don't think I've got much on over those dates...
Cheers
Clint

sometimes it just depends on how much road time we gonna be doing but for me im doing prolly 80% gravel (when the pigs running) so i stick with the nobbys

Depends what you call full knobblies...the type of tyres we run are Pirelli MT21 / Continental TKC 80 / Mitas E09/ type which is a knobbly road tyre rather than a true off road knobbly. For example, I went on an adventure trial ride last year (mostly barely road legal trail & enduro bikes) and the guys there thought my knobblies where too smooth and not aggressive enough, pretty much the tyres we use are fine on the road but, as Eddie points out, be a bit more careful in the wet.
Hi Mark, good to see your organising this ride again. I voted but as the other contributors suggest am keen to ride just about any on the dates suggested.
I rode Fiishers track over the Auckland Anniversary weekend in Jan 10, the wash out is getting deeper, although not very long can bea challenge on a big bike, momentum is your friend. Cheers Al
Have we got a definate date yet?
