    Out from the closet...

    Hi all! Greetings from Ross/Phurrball

After a week or so skulking in the background and absorbing all the KBer's (usually) salient thoughts, it's about time I outed myself...

It was only a matter of time before I caught the bike bug, I've been pretty obsessed with the human-powered ones in the past, so petrol power seems a natural progression Hehe!

(Of course, hanging around with old-school bike nuts and their hangers on in my last job, and a fiancée more bike-oscessed and gagging to learn than I am had *nothing* to do with it...)

Have been most impressed with the quality of the online community that KB has here, and I know we're going to have good times learning and getting to know y'all!

    The long road begins... Hurrah!

    Cheers

Cheers guys, glad I'm not the only night owl!

Somehow reading KB forums is much more appealing than study...

    Hi and welcome from Nana

Hopefully you'll get yourself a bike soon (assuming you don't already). Lots of advice about suitable bikes for new riders on here, just do a search or two - and check the sticky threads in Club 250 and New Member Speak (assuming your fiancee doesn't alrady have something in mind)

Biking is wonderful fun, you'll enjoy yourself immensely.

    Now - obligatory Nana lecture

Crashing is the ultimate uncool . Remember, keep the black squishy bits down, pink squishy bits up, always. And SLOW DOWN.

    Ride safe, have fun

Welcome to the fountain of biking wisdom, where all your questions may be answered. The answer might not be technically "correct" but you'll get an answer

Do you realise how many holes there could be if people would just take the time to take the dirt out of them?
