A couple of XR250 project questions

1. What the hell is this thing and where does it go? Bolt holes dont line up to anything

2. The front wheel is missing the speedo/spacer thing, so the wheel moves side to side. Would it cause any problems to stick 3 or 4 washers in there?

3. Best way of recovering a seat in this cond?

crap ii posted and it didnt go up take two
1 looks like indicator relay and looks like it bolts on to triple clamp.
2 i wouldnt im lookin at an old xl on weekend for parts if it there and cheap can get for you if you want
any upoltry guy should be able to do or there is place in hastings that dose replacement covers cheap just use big staple gun

yeah that would be great... what do you need xl parts for?

you were right about the triple clamp, ill just bung it under the seat though, dont need indicators and it sticks out the side

with the seat i was more talking about the condition of the foam and how to fill the gaps

oh me and rupe are building a xr 250 but the barrel is fucked have good sleeve so going to press out lx sleeve and put in xr sleeve rebuild motor and sell.
