    If manufactured on or after 1 Jan 2006, they need to meet a standard, otherwise they can just meet general saftey requirements e.g. visible from 20m.

    There is no way to mount a plate without modifying it. IIRC they do not come with holes?


    Nice R1, what sort of clearance is required between the tire and the plate? Mine doesn't have as much as yours from looking at it.

    I have the LED bulb off the old tail tidy which I will reuse.
