    Roadworks on Rotomas (21 February)

Fucking cunts of NZ transport or whatever they are called. i was riding over the rotomas today, just past lake rotoiti to discover the abomination of gravel tipping all over the roads had begun, there must have been at least an inch of gravel accross both lanes. it was like riding on oil, the bike wouldnt steer properly. i was down to under 20 k and fucking gravel flying everywhere.

which fucking muppet thought, 'i know, lets tip shit all over the roads, cos thats cost effective and safe isnt it!'

there is a reason why many countries use tarmac, and hey, fucking newsflash........ they repair it with tarmac too, not just fill the hole with shit!

if gravel pouring on the roads must be done, then why cant the people that maintain the roads(i use the word maintain very very loosely) put up a sign before you turn onto that road stating major road re-surfacing..or fuckwit civil engineering fuck up in progress? then we, that value the paint finish on our vehicles and our own safety, have the option of taking another road.

after inspecting my bike, im cosidering my options. paintwork fucked!

Send the council a bill for the repair for the paintwork. Know a group of guys who did this when in a similar situation and 2 belts broke and bikes had to be trailered. They wrote in and sent in the bill to cover costs. All bikes belts were paid for.
